DAY#1 - Tuesday - September 24th

Overnight flight to Reykjavik, Iceland from Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU) arriving in the morning

DAY#2 - Wednesday - September 25th - Reykjavik, Iceland

Check in the hotel.  Explore Reykjavik on your own as long as you want today. 

The terrain is visually stunning, offering views of lava flows, hot springs unspoiled nature and

colorful. The world's most northly capital brings together quaint villages, exciting museums, a

flourishing music scene and restaurants that rival Europe's finest. 

DAY#3 - Thursday - September 26th

Board the Norwegian Prima for and exciting 10-day cruise.

DAY#4 - Friday - September 27th - Isafjordur, Iceland     8:00am - 6:00pm

Is the largest town in Iceland's remote Westfjord's region. Originally, a church site and a 16th century

trading post, the town of Isafjordur is home to wonderful museums and historic sites for those

wishing to learn about the region's rich heritage and local culture.

DAY#5 - Saturday - September 28th - Akureyrd, Iceland     6:00am - 4:00pm

Nestled along the shores of one of the most breathtaking fjords in Iceland. It is the nation's second

largest urban area and a center of Icelandic folk culture. Visit the museums, hike along the vistas,

or explore the botanical gardens and shop the charming boutiques. Catch a glimpse or play a round of the most northerly 18-hole golf course in the world. Feast on some Nordic specialties like smoke

lamb and fresh fish and indulge in an Icelandic fried pastry.

 

DAY#6 - Sunday - September 29th - At Sea

DAY#7 - Monday - September 30th - Alesund, Norway     11:00am - 10:00pm

Alesund is one of Norway's most beautiful towns, renowned for its Jugend-style art nouveau architectural style in which most of the town was rebuilt after a fire in 1904. There are panoramic

views of the architecture, the surrounding archipelago and fjords from the Mount Akdia lookout. The 

town has a unique layout, as it is built on islands extending to the Seat, and offers scenic views of

fjord and the Sunnmore Alps. Alesund is the fishing capital of Norway.

DAY#8 - Tuesday - October 1, 2024 - Olden, Norway     8:00am - 7:00pm

Olden is a village and urban area in the municipality of Stryn. Located at the northern end of The

Nordfjord at the mouth of the Oldeelva river. The landscape is dramatic and some of Norway's most

stunning natural wonders.  There you will see the Briskdal Glacier, an extension of one of the biggest

glaciers in Europe which is a majestic sight.  You will see cascading waterfalls, incredible mountains 

and lakes.  The Old Olden Church is a little wooden church built in an unusual cruciform shape with

eccentric features like the reindeer antlers that marks the end of its pews. making it an attraction to see.

 

DAY#9 - Wednesday - October 2, 2024 - Bergen, Norway     8:00am - 5:00pm

Bergen is the second largest city in Norway, located on the west coast of Norway in the heart of the fjords. .  It is known for the capital of the fjords.  It is situated between the two biggest fjords in Norway, the Hardangerfjord and the Sognefjord. It retains its small town charm and welcoming atmosphere.  The city is ringed by seven mountains, several of which are very easily reached and

climbable.

DAY#10 - Thursday - October 3, 2024 - At Sea

DAY#11 - Friday - October 4, 2024 - Amsterdam, Netherlands     7:00am - 5:00pm

Affectionately, known as the "Venice of the North," Amsterdam is actually situated below sea level and built on stakes driven into the ground. Known for its elaborate canal system and narrow houseswith gabled facades. Sights that are well known is the Anne Frank House, The

Hague, and a Delft P0ttery Factory, the Van Gogh Museum.

DAY#12 - Saturday - October 5, 2024 - Brussel, Belgium     7:00am - 5:00pm

Brussels has 90 museums, fountains, beautiful gardens, trendy restaurants and bars and great shopping.  It is the centre of European culture.

DAY#13 - Sunday - October 6, 2024 - Southampton, England     6:00am arrival

Southampton serves as the principal port of the United Kingdom today.  It is protected from the frequent storms of the English Channel by the Isle of Wight. Southampton is home to the Sea City Museum, with an interactive model of the Titanic. The Tudor House Museum is one of the famous museums in the city.  Southampton is famously known for the launching of the Titanic in 1912.

The city pays homage to one of the most famous ships to sail these shores at the Mayflower Memorial.
