Embark with us on this amazing journey into a world of wild horses, the lost colony, pirate legends, and unspoiled coast lines as we explore North Carolina's Outer Banks. The lure of the sea has always been strong with our guide on this tour. She fell in love with the outer banks of North Carolina almost 30 years ago and continues saying it is her favorite place in the world!

Day One - Monday October 3, 2022
7:00 am Depart Florence SC to Manteo NC. Lunch on own en route.
1 :30 pm - Meet your guide at the Outer Banks Welcome Center. Depart for the Village of Manteo to enjoy some free time and browse the quaint waterfront shops in this village on Roanoke Island, home of the Lost Colony!
3:00 pm - Visit Festival Park Living History Museum and learn more about the Lost Colony, one of our country's oldest mysteries! See the Film "The Legend of Two-Path" showcasing the arrival of the first English Colonists to the New World from the Native American's perspective,
Tour the replica sailing ship, The Elizabeth II and visit the Settlement and the Discovery Museum.
5:00 pm - Enjoy a delicious dinner at the Sugarcreek Restaurant featuring choice of prime rib, seafood platter, or grilled chicken pasta. Need choices in advance. Enjoy waterfront dining on the Roanoke Sound with fabulous sunset views!
7:30 pm Check into Hampton Inn, Corolla for 4 nights. Beautiful beach front property, included breakfast each day, swimming pool, and ocean side view rooms! (They do not have enough double full oceanfront rooms, but ocean-side rooms can see the water!) This is a beautiful Hampton with fabulous walking beach!
Day Two - Tuesday October 4, 2022
6:30 am - Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel featuring hot items. Enjoy a morning walk on the beach before continuing our adventure!
8:45 am -Depart to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Wildlife Center, guests can climb the lighthouse for an additional fee, weather permitting.
10:30 am - Depart to Wild Horse Adventure Tours showcasing a fun drive along the beach looking for the herd of wild banker ponies! Your guide will give the history of the herd as we travel in open air oversize hummers looking for the ponies!
12:30 pm - Depart to Timbuk II Shopping area for lunch on own and free time to purchase souvenirs.
3:00 pm - Return to the Inn for some free time before dinner.
5:45 pm -Depart to the Sunset Grill for included dinner, choices can be made that night. Features delicious cuisine, fun drinks, and truly amazing views of the sunsets over the Currituck Sound!
8:00 pm -Return back to Inn.
Day Three -Wednesday October 5, 2022
6:30 am - Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel featuring hot items.
7:30 am - Depart to Cape Hatteras National Seashore for a full day adventure traveling the cape to Ocracoke Island! We include stops by the Bodie Island Lighthouse & Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, enjoy box lunches to eat on the ferry as we travel to Ocracoke Island, considered the Pearl of the Outer Banks! We will stop by the famous beach rated number one in the US by Dr. Beach. Learn more about Black Beard and his favorite hideout, ghost stories, and enjoy free time to explore the quaint fishing village!
5:00 pm - Enjoy family style feast at Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe featuring BBQ Ribs, sauteed fresh tuna, shrimp, crab dip, and more! Features best Key Lime Pie on the east coast! Look for Ospreys building their nest while enjoying spectacular waterfront dining! (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Four - Thursday October 6, 2022
6:30 am - Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel featuring hot items.
This morning we have an old fashion pool/beach relaxation time!. Enjoy an entire free morning following breakfast! We will include pizza and subs by the pool for lunch! {Weather permitting or we can do lunch in the breakfast area).
1 :30 pm - Depart for some shopping time in the quaint village of Duck.
3:00 pm - Depart to the Wright Brothers National Park and Monument showcasing the historical famous First Flight! Free time to explore the grounds, museum, and gift shop.
5:00 pm - Dinner included at Captain George's Seafood Buffet for a huge array of fresh seafood, meats, fish, salad bar with she crab soup and clam chowder, plus a large dessert table filled with mouthwatering homemade treats including cakes, puddings, tarts, cookies, baklava, and more!
Day Five - Friday October 7, 2022
Enjoy one last walk on the beach after breakfast.
9:00 am - Bags out.
10:00 am - Depart for home.
